Lauren's 5th birthday!

My baby, Lauren, turned 5 years old yesterday! Wow!! It's amazing how time flies by!

Good news..

Last month I had posted about my brother, Davey having prostate cancer surgery. He got the report back today and all 15 lymph nodes were negative. The cancer was contained to the prostate!! THANK GOD!

In honor of our mothers..

We went to a birthday party for great nephew, Ryker on Sunday.

Last Saturday went to a baby shower for friend Heidi. She is having twins. A boy and a girl. Due in August..this belly will be getting a lot bigger, I would say! LOL :)

Enjoying the warm days!!

I think everyone has been enjoying the beautiful weather we had over last weekend!! I had to work but took advantage of it when I got out of work!! It is supposed to rain today but hasn't started yet! Almost summertime!!

We went for a drive down to Atwood Lake yesterday after work/school for Scott and the kids.



Scott and his family used to live down in that area when he was around 9 years of age. It is amazing all the things he remembered and the stories he shared with us!!:) LOL!
This picture is taken from a golf course that was practically in their backyard. It is still there and I took a picture of the back part of the land where their house used to be..

This is where their house sat. And I guess they lived in houses on both sides of the road, right across the street from each other. Both houses are gone now..

This is one of the kids favorite places to go in the summer!! It was still so nice after I got off work on Friday night and we took the kids to get ice cream!!
