My brother Davy

Please pray for my brother Davy. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in February. He is having surgery tomorrow (Monday, April 13) at OSU hospital in Columbus.

Happy Easter!!

I hope everyone had a nice Easter!! I was supposed to work today, but got called off. I was so happy!! I got to go to church with my family and had a yummy dinner at my sister, Diana's house.




Scott turned 35 years old yesterday!! We had him a little party at home with just us on Thursday!!:)

Happy 1st Birthday, Sophia Grace!!..Miracle Baby

I am not sure if you remember. I posted a picture when she was born at 2lbs 9oz. So unbelievable to see a precious tiny baby grow into what she is today!! She is truly a miracle!!

Some sad news..

My grandmother, Dora Best (my mom's mother), died this morning around 6:30 a.m., surrounded by her loving family. My mom left yesterday morning to be by her side, spent the night with her, and the family was called in around 5:00 a.m. Please pray for comfort and safety in traveling as the family makes plans to bury a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Although dementia had taken her from us long ago, those glimmers of recognition and remembrance were hoped for and welcomed. So glad of the hope of heaven and joyful welcome awaiting us with a mind that has been restored.

Florida!!

We were so priveleged to get to go back to Hobe Sound this year!! We had a great time and the weather was beautiful!! We were sightseeing in Orlando for a night and we also went to Lion County Safari in West Palm Beach!!! We saw a lot of old friends and had a lot of late nights visiting!! Scott's cousins, Jason and Missy Fisher were there too!! Our kids had a lot of fun playing with their kids, as always!! The ocean was beautiful. The water was a little cold for me, but it didn't stop the kids, of course!!LOL
